Q. I am very keen on taking training for cabin crew but at the same time, I would like to continue with my graduation. Is there a way out to pursue both?
Answer: It is definitely possible. Our courses at AHA are part time, wherein the timing would not clash with your college hours. Most of the International airlines recruit only graduates for cabin crew therefore pursuing your graduation degree would indeed be helpful for you for placements with an international airline.
Q. I'm studying in XII standard. I want to know: How important is grooming for the job of an Airhostess?
Answer: Grooming is a key prerequisite for an Airhostess. However, grooming doesn’t just imply beauty or make-up but the overall personality: the way to carry yourself, your behavior with the passengers, speech, diction etc. We have a series of professionals from the industry, who give students a good insight into what goes into making such a winsome profile.
Q. Is Graduation very important for the services industry? I just completed 10+2 and have scored very well in CBSE.
Answer: Although a degree is preferable, many employers will accept 10+2 candidates as well. For example in domestic airline the basic qualification for a cabin crew is 10+2, but in most of the international airlines the required qualification is graduation. Taking this into account our courses at AHA are designed and developed as part time courses so that a student can easily pursue his or her graduation along with the course.
Q. Can boys also pursue an aviation job?
Answer: Why Not? It’s a mistaken concept that the Airhostess job is only for girls. Boys also can join as Stewards, Flight Attendants etc., which is similar to the job of an Airhostess.
Q. Is training absolutely essential for a job in the aviation sector?
Answer: The kind of training that AHA provides involves inculcating soft-skill components in the candidate which forms the basic requirement for any industry involved in an interface with the customers, say cabin crew and ground jobs. At AHA we also take care to train our students as per the industry requirements.
Q. Can you please tell me about the procedure of getting admission in A.H.A.?
Answer: Through a written test, we filter students with basic general knowledge and language skill and after a round of interviews, select the ones cut out for the service industry.
Q. Are AHA courses affiliated or validated by any university?
Answer: Yes, our both courses that is Diploma in Aviation and Hospitality Management which is for one year and Diploma in Global Aviation and Hospitality Management which is for two years are validated by University of Cambridge, International Examinations (CIE)- UK. That means our syllabus is at par with the international standards and AHA is the first institute of its kind to get validation from CIE.
