 Hon’ble Minister, Ms Ambika Soni presents the award to Ms Sapna Gupta, Founder & Director, Air Hostess Academy
Above:New Delhi, August 22, 2008: Air Hostess Academy (AHA), Pioneers in Hospitality and Aviation Training, today received the Best Air Hostess Training Academy Award for 2008 at 4th Hospitality India & Explore the World Annual International Awards 2008 organised by Hospitality India group in association with Egyptian Tourism Authority & Egypt Air. The award is in recognition of AHA’s achievements and excellence in the field of Aviation & hospitality training for the past 10 years. The award is also being given for Corporatising Aviation and Hospitality training in the country. Ms Ambika Soni, Honb’le Union Minister for Tourism & Culture, Govt. of India presented the award to Ms Gupta at Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. Mani Shankar Aiyer, Hon’ble Union Minister for Development of North, Eastern Region was also present to grace the occasion.
The Minister was accompanied by Kiran Choudhary, Hon’ble Minister Tourism, Govt. of Haryana, Devi Singh Bhatti, Hon’ble Minister Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan, Brij Mohan Agarwal, Hon’ble Minister Tourism, Govt. of Chattisgarh, Arvinder Singh lovely, Hon’ble Minister Tourism, Govt. of Delhi. Mr Amr El Ezaby, Chairman, Egyptian Tourist Authority, Mr Sam Mahmoud, Tourism Counsellor, Egyptian Tourism Office, Mr S. Banerjee, IAS,Secy Tourism govt. of India, Mr Ashok Chawla, IAS Secy Civil Aviation, Govt of India. Ms V.S Rao, IAS Secy, Govt. of India also graced the occasion.
“Our mission is to meet the ever-increasing requirement of manpower in the service industry by creating an effective pool of efficient and competent professionals on a continued sustained basis and to remain the No. 1 trainer for the service industry.” she added.

Above: AHA recently was awarded The Best Training Academy of the Year Award for the year 2007-08 by Business Sphere Magazine. The Award was given to Ms. Sapna Gupta, Founder & Director AHA, by Mr. Oscar Fernandis - Minister of Labour and Union and Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Former Chief Minister of J&K.

Above: The National Seminar on “Individual Achievements and National Building” hosted an award ceremony in September 2007 in which AHA’s top three management personnel were awarded. Mr Akash Gupta, the Founder & Director of AHA, was presented with the ‘Gem of India Award’, while Ms Sapna Gupta was honored with the ‘Arch of Excellence Award in Education’ for her unparalleled contribution in training, imparted by AHA in the arena of Aviation and Hospitality. Mr Daya Prakash, the Vice President and director of AHA, bagged the ‘Arch of Excellence Award in Business’ and the ‘Outstanding National Citizen’s Award’ for services to society and individual achievement in nation building.

Ms. Sapna Gupta received the prestigious Entrepreneurship Award organised by Bharat Nirman from the Mayor of Delhi Smt. Aarti Mehra at the 21st Super Achiever Award function 2008. Ms. Gupta received the award in recognition of her Entrepreneurship Spirit that has taken AHA to great heights of achievement, glory and success.

AHA has also been bestowed with the converted Golden Peacock National Training Award Award, consecutively for three years in a row i.e. from 2005-2007, awarded by the Institute of Directors, (IOD), in recognition of AHA's Super Achievements in the field of Education and Training.
